I know we discussed before, but lets do it again...

My kids will stay in DR longer than 15 days in December, how much am I supposed to pay as a penalty? Last year I paid $20 for each and others here said they were able to negotiate the penalty. So, does it really vary?

Although they have never actually made me pay it. I didnt ahve any cash left...I only had visa, and couldnt withdraw any money. so they just let me through.

Depends on who you get at the counter. Sometimes they don't even really look at what day you enterd the country.

Oh and you can also check here to keep current on it, in case they decide to change it again...not that it matters..I have never actually had to pay it though
