Hey All,
I posted a question a couple of weeks ago about starting a school in Santiago... didn't get much response so here is another question: What is land selling for in Santiago? Could be on the outskirts... 5 acres, 8 acres... just a ballpark would be good at this time. I know that when I lived in Haiti there was a significant difference in price for nationals as compared to foreign interests, is it the same there? We could also find some good deals just by doing a little bit of looking outside 'normal' channels. There were good deals to be had by networking rather than just calling a real estate agent. I would appreciate any help on this issue you could provide.
Thanks

5 acres = 30 tareas = 18870 square meters

at probabl;y RD1.000 to 2,000 per meter that is between roughly RD$18,870,000 pesos or UD$673,928.57. With no electricity, water or other services, but roughly within the urban area.

Hey, that would be great. Have prices gone up quite a bit over the last few years? I had a friend who lives in Santiago who was looking at 2 & 3 acre plots in the $10,000.00 US range. Thanks for your help. :beard:
