I don't think so because of the inheritance laws

In a nation that is 70% functionally illiterate, wills are practically non-existant, so the laws protect the wife and all of the children.

Anything that would circumvent this is not looked upon with favor.

Some wise people have managed to distribute property before their passing and avoiding a lot of hassles. Others are creating companies whose main assets are real estate holdings. This is more a tax thing than an inheritance avoidance issue.

HB :D:D

And thinking on this as a much larger issue, such as a National Park or something similar, unless they are Le?n Jim?nes or Brugals or Berm?dez or Franjul or people of that ilk, I doubt that anyone has land that could be put aside as a public trust. The issue of land invasion would be one major problem, for sure."Oh, that belongs to the rich, let me put my little house there...." That sort of thing..
