I am planning on traveling back to the US this summer and I have been checking into flying the dogs with me, but am not sure about how this would work because of the temperature restricitons. So I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this?

If not, is there a good place for them to stay in the Puerto Plata area? About how much would it cost?

Thanks!

I think that for

your peace of mind, you might look further afield. Ask around, however, since I have never heard of "dog sitters" like people have in NYC.

Certainly travelling with the dog would be very difficult back and forth, as you said first because of temperature concerns and also because of sanitary restrictions, especially getting into the US....But I do not have experience in this.

I will call around here in Santiago and see if there are boarding kennels here and get back to you.
