If you get into a jam, how to safely exit the country, when you have a block from leaving on your passport.

What is exactly blocked?? your passport number, your name? Would exiting with your birth certificate and driving license instead of the blocked passport circumvent this problem?

When a barring from exiting is placed on your passport, is this nationwide, or is it done from port to port? Please confirm there have been many rumours on this.

If it all possible please address this topic only thanks.

Another option is to befriend a boat operator who is going to Turks/Caicos, Bahamas, or Florida, like, lets say one of the whale watching boats that come in the winter. Tell him you will give him a few hundred bucks to take you there as long as he keeps you off the official documents when he leaves the country. Immigration officers never check the boat when it leave, and if they do, hide in the engine room or go onboard after officials leave boat.

A friend of mine did this when he got a 2yr (plus RD 2M) sentence for killing a motoconcho driver who was driving without lights, no helmet, down the wrong way of a one way street.

Besides flying AA (American Airlines) there's no better way to get to Puerto Rico than on MM, which has regular departures (twice a day) from Miches. Just stand in the town square around late afternoon, holding a bag and a plastic gallon container. Somebody will approach you for the ticket. If you have no money, no problemo! just agree to carry a neatly wrapped parcel weighing about 2.2 lbs.

Sock puppet I suspect. You know of course since you cannot enter with just a drivers license you can't exit without a passport - they might be a trifle suspicious. And since your tourist card was stamped with the passport details, I guess you want to lose that too. Force them to really check the databases for your name, a sensible strategy to stay low key.

Cross to Haiti overland, bribe the DR border guards to look the other way, and if you live fly from there to MIA.
