Malev Airlines is sold to Krasair

Hungarian aircompany MALEV was sold to KRASAIR, the russian carrier purchased 99.95 % Malev's shares, the new owner also accepted Malev's debt - 178.8 Million USD. Airline operates 28 aircrafts and delivered 2 million passengers last year.

Malev will become a part of new air alliance AIR BRIDGE directed by Krasair. The airline will not cooperate with ONE WORLD.

Malev expirienced economical problems during last 5 flive years. The government of Hungary was trying to sell airline since 2003
