In the US Kia and Hundai have a 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a100,000 mile drive train warranty. Do the have a similar warranty in the DR?

I think I saw "Hyundai" offering 3" Years" in the "paper" recently.That is the longest I have ever seen here.Generally the Warrentees/garentees are for much less time,and much less coverage.Please check VERY CAREFULLY with the dealership before you buy."Enforcing" your garentee may be yet another battle!

A friend of mine had a Hundai Jeepeta. He had electrical problems and it took them six months to get the parts and fix it. I am not kidding.

Toyota gives three years or 100,000 Kilometer warranty, and they back this up. I have a new Toyota and go to theToyota service center in Santiago. I highly recommend dealing with them. They are in the Delta Center.
