So now that your are moving to SD - I have so many questions. I havent been reading much around here, so I bet you have answered many of these already (either via PM, Chat sessions, or by the message board). If you have, then cut and paste your answers... IF you dont want to answer a question, just say so - I'll get over it. I hope you dont blast me!

What city are you moving to?
Where (renting or buying, apt or house)?
Alone?
When will you be moving?
Is it permanent or Temp?
What will do for a living?
Why now, what prompted your decision?
What will be the dealbreaker to leave DR?

I'm pretty sure I will come up with others, but it is probably better that others have a chance to ask too - unless this becomes Talldrink's nosy thread about Larry's life...

BTW - Good Luck!!

I thought Robert was the only one allowed to give interviews!?!

That's ok, these questions are pretty basic and I don't mind answering.

--What city are you moving to?

Santo Domingo

--Where (renting or buying, apt or house)?

Gazcue, renting an apartment. Scandall from here is being nice enough to share his apartment with me.

-- Alone?

No, with Scandall, like I just said. Oh, and his dog.

--When will you be moving?

Around the 1st of September.

--Is it permanent or Temp?

I dont know. I would like to say permanent. I still have a home here in NY I can come back to if I want to. I had planned on living in the DR since my first visit 4 years ago and because of several converging circumstances, now is as good a time as any to make the move.

--What will you do for a living?

Robert and Dolores have been kind enough to give me the opportunity to come and work in the DR1 office for them.

--Why now, what prompted your decision?

Well, I just felt I need a change. Initially, I had planned to move to Las Vegas but took a 5 week trip to the DR first and decided I wanted to stay. I have some financial flexibility now and you only live once so why not?

--What will be the dealbreaker to leave DR?

Hmmm, well, there could be a lot of dealbreakers but I like to think positively. This was not an overnight decision but something that I have been loosely planning for a long time. I will make it work :).

Thank you for your answers. I'll see you in December or January when the SD crew gets together again...

Chiri, are we on again this year?

Now that you'll be living in the big city, will you still be Mango Larry?
It kinda sounds too countryish.
Hey!!! What about Mangu Larry?

Hmmmm, Mango Larry or Mangu Larry? How to bring chocolates? This move might be more complicated then I thought.

Will you be taking in a Dominican Wife or another type.

Will you be able to get your prostetic penis worked on in Santo Domingo? Do they offer these types of Doctor services there?

Will your insurance still cover you in the DR since your accident happened while on the JOB in NY?

Thanks in advance,

Escott

PS> You will always remain Mango Larry in our hearts no matter what the big city does to you!

It sounds more like Talldrink is screening herself her next husband.

Not so Mr. DR. Larry (and other DR1'ers from the NYC area) have gotten to know each other after a few years on the board and many meetings. I thought it would be helpful to share the info I asked Larry for others to see, rather than have him answer them in 20 PMs to different people.

Trina, there is a Committee out there!

Ok, why do I feel like I'm in the school backyard again? Pretty soon Patrick will come out singing the tree-kiss song!
