I am sorry, this is maybe not the place to ask but I ahve to try:

We need blood of type B NEG. It's very rare!

Please if anybody knows where to get it or when anybody wants to donate some, please post here or send an pm. This is urgent and life-saving!

Type B- is indeed rare, about 2% of world population. Type O- is also rare, but not as rare, about 7% of world population. O- is universal donor blood (can be tranfused into type O, A, B, or AB patient), can this be used for you?
Maybe you can broaden your search.

I won't be in-country until September 3rd, but I am almost positive I have the blood type of which you speak. I'll try to confirm with a doctor, and if I can be of help while I'm there, I'll be happy to donate.

EDIT: I am not sure if I am O- or B- when I think of it, I know it is rare.
And I cannot find my papers.
I will go up the hospital and check right now, it is close to my house.

Everybody thank you very much! :classic:

We found B- so the problem has been solved.(patient is recovering while we speak)

O- can be used in case of emergency and the doctors told me that if there wasn't any B- they would use it.

An advice to them that have B- (and even O-); this blood is very hard to find, a good idea, in my opinion, is to have a list of people closeby which have a matching blood-type.
