I am interested in hearing from guys who have had experiences from sankies at the resorts. It seems to be a general rule (based on comments on this board) that all sankies are bisexual. Is that the case? How do sankies know which guys to hit on/will play ??? I personally have seen plenty of sankies hit on women, but I haven't seen any with men. Is it done more on the DL? How do they "hook up" with men ???

You will probably get some PMs from people that perhaps do know the answer to your question. Homosexuality is in the DR but is not completely accepted. I know a person (through business) named Arthur (from NYC) that owns a resort called "Club Escape" or something like that for alternative lifestyles. It is just outside of Sosua past the Sosua carwash on the left hand side going out of town. Perhaps they have some answers for you.

I think the ones that swing either way are more pansexual than bisexual. Just like many male porn actors (in gay themed porn) are not gay or bisexual, they are doing it for the money and see it only that way.

Although I agree that if they are mostly doing it for the money, if they can "get it up" to get with a gay guy, they have to be at least bisexual.

Actually I read something quite interesting on that and saw a SEX TV episode with a gay porn actor who always brought his wife to the shoots and has no physical desire for men, but gets paid very well , and says he is not either gay or bi, has no attraction to men, just viagra and money doing the job.

The same logic applies in California who used to prosecute porn stars for prostitution and for pandering/pimping for the producers. The appeal case hinged on the definition of prostitution which was having sex for money for the pleasure/enjoyment of the client. The porn stars said they really didn't enjoy it at all and they were doing it for the money as actors. Since they didn't meet the definition of prostitution by the lack of intent to achieve pleasure the appeal was upheld and they now are not prosecuted.

Think of a lot of typical sankie clients - the sankie is handsome in his 20's, fit and virile, his client is overweight, smokes 300 cigarettes a day, drinks too much, older by 20+ years, possibly quite ugly, he still gets it up and does the job since it is a job and not an attraction.

Were money not involved they wouldn't do it at all, and a non-sankie might not even be able to perform - no stimulus, no enjoyment. Men in particular need a lot of visual stimulation to be interested and even if I was paid I wouldn't touch a lot of the sankie women I have seen over the years at all.

Considering some of the women these guys sleep with, attraction has little to do with it.

For the sankie, it's a job and they get paid - probably monthly installments via Western Union or lump sum. But, many of these women looking for information on their sankie think it's love; just pay up until your next trip, very simple.

These women just need to accept that the 'courtship' is the sankie's tool, like a framer using a plough, and there is no need to justify their lust by pretending that they are in love.

I was once approached by a really nice girl who asked if I was interested in women, I turned her down but I'm sure she would go with whoever asked her. I also know a guy, friend of a friend who is gay and he was picked up by a european guy when we were out one night but I don't think he would go with a woman.

Cheers :bunny:

Bisexuality in the DR is not talked about often but is there. Aside from sankies many Dominican males are bisexual. In fact a friend of mine who lived in apartments in Gazcue found out his close friends were male prostitutes. But like a lot of people said before--many sankies do it soley for the money. What is your intention? Are you looking to hook up with sankies? It shouldn't be hard to do--especially in the la capital. Sex tourism is big problem as well as money maker on the island. If you are gay then the Zona Colonial is very liberal/open/accepting of this lifestyle/preference. You should have no problems finding what you are looking for there.
