If all else fails you can fabricate the legs with the following plumbing parts:
2" piping, steel or plastic
Floor flange- used to connect pipe to tabletop.
End Cap- used for end of pipe against floor, just add a rubber floor protector.

Paint to desired color.

Total cost for 4 legs, under $20 in plastic, not sure of steel or cast iron prices in the DR.

Or, if you want to pay the price, contact the mfg. and ask them if they have a distributor?
I looked around once for legs like that, and finally gave up and bought the little gizmos you use with a standard 2 x 4 to make sawhorses..

I can get them at a hundred places online, that I know.
It's the shipping cost I'm trying to avoid.

Thanks for the tip. But I NEED chrome or brushed steel.
It's for furniture, not for a garage or garden piece.

If you had posted earlier, I could have brought them with me. (I leave for the DR on Wednesday). If you can find a place in NJ or NYC, that sells them I might be able to pick them up and bring them.

There is a quite new furniture for offices store in POP. I know they have tables with those, but not if they sell them extra.
I pass by and ask tomorrow.

That's very kind of you!

But...

My guess is 8 legs will weigh around 30-40lb.
Are you sure?

No problem. But... I'm leaving Wednesday morning. PM or email me if you want to try to do it.
