Cubana gets new planes

Cubana receives 2 new IL-96, also airline leased 1 B747-400 from Air Atlanta (TF-AMI) for flights to Europe. It is possible that begining next spring CU will use a new IL96-300 on its route to SDQ

IL96 in Russia are grounded for 2 weeks because of general check of it brake systems. After president's IL96 had problem in Helsinki all airlines decided to perform its check.

IL96 are used by Aeroflot on european routes, and in Cuba they can use it even on domestic flights, who cares about economic factors in Cuba??? they just fly
