Starting next week there will be a new law regarding car circulation in the DR. Wednesdays and Thursdays there will be car rotation (all cars), pair and impair will circulate on different days. Don?t know how the Dominicans will respond to this, but something serious has to be done to conserve the gasoline! :cry:

what's car rotation? and for the benefit of everyone who don't read spanish..what's the price of gasoline?..please.

Cars with plate numbers ending with odd numbers will be able to circulate on Wednesday for example, and even on Thursday. Rumors has it that the price of gas could go up to RD$200. On Monday there will be a press conference explaining all of this to the public.

We should start a thread with the rate and link to it for the main DR1 page so people would know each day what the exhange rate is.
