We are doing some major renovation and redecorating of our apartment. We are in the market for a couple of floor lamps and something to hang over the dining room table. We have looked at what is available at the main store of Ochoa, but hope our choices are better than what we saw there.

In Santiago, where will we find the best source of lamps and lights? Is there any store that really specializes in lamps and lights for home use?

I've seen two or three of them

I'll have to get out and look for them again but there are several.

I'll send you a PM as soon as I can locate a couple of them precisely.

There used to be a fair selection at Bellon.
Track lighting.
Recessed lighting.
Several wall & ceiling lamps.
I don't remember too many table lamps.

And the best pricing as well if you're lucky enough to find an employee who can tell you the price at all.

at 8A always ask for Fabio.. he's young guy, honest,
and will give you better prices... the discount might
be more than what you can give him as tip.

He works where the tiles, bathtubs, toilets are... but
he can walk over to the other 8A stores with you and give you a better price.

just go to that 8A store where they have the tiles, bathtubs, and toilets and ask for Fabio. Tell him the guy from Luperon that bought lots of stuff from him sent you.
