Catalonia Bavaro Punta Cana

We will be leaving this weekend. Would like to know if there is anyone that has been to this resort. We have heard good and bad things. We would also like to know any tips about the Punta Cana area that would help us have a great vacation. Thanks, Mike

There are several reviews posted in the Resort Database (go to the home page for the link at www.dr1.com). I was there recently with my family. Keep in mind that people come to Punta Cana to relax and enjoy one of the best beaches in the world. It's not the place if you want great night life or shopping. Thanks very much for the information on the resort. We are very excited about our trip there and leave this weekend for 7 nights. We are a little concerned about the tropical storm, but it appears as if it will go north of the area. Thanks again, Mike
