I am in the process of building a knowledge base to answer e-mail questions that come through to DR1. What I need is some ideas on what you think would be common questions about anything pertaining to the Dominican Republic eg. (What is the climate like, how can I obtain residency, are there any gyms in Santo Domingo, etc.)

Please be advised that I am NOT looking for questions and aswers and I am NOT looking for anyone to answer a question that someone proposes. I am simply looking for questions. Hopefully, some of you will think of topics that I have thusfar overlooked.

Off the top of my head (The big one)

Is it safe to go out of the all inclusive resorts?
Is it safe to rent a car or a motorbike, and how much do they cost?
What are the directions from ??? airport to ??? ie:STI to Sosua.
What activities are available in ??? town?
Where are the best windsurfing beaches?
Where are the best kitesurfing beaches?
Where are the best surfing beaches?
Which are the best areas for scuba diving?
Which are the best areas for snorkeling?
Where are the best beaches near Santo Domingo?
Is there any good nightlife in ??? ie: Puerto Plata
Are there any ATM's in ??? ie: Sosua
What currency is the best to bring to the DR?

There's a baker's dozen for you.

What are the advantages /disadvantages of obtaining Dominican Residency? How much does it cost? Where do I go to apply for it?; Why/when is it necessary to obtain a Dominican Drivers Licence? How much does it cost?; Where are there digital photography processing locations? Which Dominican Cel Phone Company is the best to get a Cel phone from? Where can one obtain a home security system? Hope this helps.. Canadian Bob.
