A Doppler Radar is in its final stages of construction in Punta Cana. It will be a great assist with weather forecasting and tracking technology for the area and the country. It is located a few kilometers from the Punta Cana airport and about 1 km from the entrance/visitor center of Cap Cana.
It is being constructed for the airport by the contractor Sofratesa using French advanced technology.
