move to the DR ( furnitures )

Anyone with experience of moving to the DR ? I am after reliable moving companies in the DR with partners in Europe to handle my physical move and handle related customs administration. You should look for a reliable mover with full insurance coverage. Beware that duty can be expensive on electronic equipment. In my case I had no problem because my container arrived in S.D. only once I had my residency, hence had nearly no duty to pay but even with a reliable mover, boxes were missing!!!!
