HELP!!! Invertor overload

We live in Rio San Juan and are looking for an invertor system. We have been offered a system from Cabrera that is a "Dominican Invertor with a Trace card", dual fans, eight "Eagle" batteries, 3.6 kw invertor, installed, one year warranty for $45,000 pesos.....today we looked all over POP and now are completely confused.....HELP!!! We want to be able to run a fridge and a LG washing machine 10.5 kgs a couple of fans and a couple of lights. Any ideas????

Local made inverters are muuuch better than they used to be, it's true that the Trace control board has been successfully reverse-engineered. Aside from this Trace/Xantrex has been manufacturing in the DR for a couple of years now.

Now that their pricing is through the roof, it does make sense to look at local made inverters.

Go out and price a Trace/Xantex setup, and know that if you go local you will pay maybe a little over half that.

No matter what inverter you buy there is a good chance it's going to need service sooner or later, so make sure you buy from someone who won't leave you high and dry.
