DR1, we need infos?

About the Dominicus Palace, you said in the news:

"Other hotels along the Dominicus Beach strip are the Viva Dominicus, the Dominicus Palace (opening this winter)..."

We are supposed to be there at the end of november and some of our friends are leaving saturday the 6 of november, would it be open?

But what could happen to those guys that are going to this hotel by the 6 of november?

We called reservations at their sister hotel Viva Dominicus and were told it was opening "approximately 1 December." You should recheck your reservations if you or your friends will be traveling there in November, especially the 6 November booking. It is possible that for booking prior to the opening you have been given a super rate. The hotel staff will be practicing on you. The major plus of this hotel is the beach in front of it.

Recheck with your travel agency to see if there has been any change in the date the hotel will be accepting its first guests. Again, as explained in the previous response, if you or your friends accept to be of its first guests you will have received a discounted rate. If the hotel says you can come down, and you are getting a big discount, come on down. In the worst of circumstances you will be able to eat at the Viva Dominicus next door. Again, the biggest plus of Dominicus Palace is its beach, and that will be waiting for you.
