I just returned from my 4th trip to the Dominican Republic. As mentioned in an earlier post, this was my 1st trip to Juan Dolio. The help and information that I received from the folks here on DR1 was invaluable. Although the Costa Caribe has seen its better days, the folks that work there did an incredible job. They made sure that all of my needs were met. I missed my flight out on the December 4th and I had to pay Delta an extra 245 bucks on a flight that only cost $310 to begin with (more details on that lately). So I ended up flying out the following day. The great thing was that the hotel didn?t charge me for the day. The hotel was a little slow, but on Wednesday 300 nurses from Santo Domingo checked in. That?s when all the fun began (more details on that later). I just wanted to say thanks for the information.
