Ok. We might as well get this started now.

What are the Lew Years Resolutions for those of you who live in the DR?

I'll get the ball rolling....

1) Get in shape
2) Eat less Pollo de Provocon (tough one)
3) Be nicer to NALS
4) Convert AZB to Christianity
5) Send CCCCC to sensitivity training
6) Help Robert develop a sense of humor
7) Be more patient
8) Appreciate the little things
9) Find my future x-wife
10) Spend less time on DR1 (not very realistic)

Fire away, infidels!

I don't know about Lew Years, but I have some New Years Resolutions for your humble consideration.

2. ...
3. ...
4. ...
5. ...
6. ...
7. ...
8. ...
9. ...
10. Stop making lists of things I should do!

My resolution:

Submit application for # 9.....

Applications are being accepted. Send an 8x10 glossy photo (clothing optional), updated CV and a personal statement (English or Spanish).

Turnaround time is almost instantaneous.

Aah, romance is not dead!

I'm enjoying this thread.

My new year resolutions are not ex-pat specific. The usual stuff about doing more exercise, I suppose. And this year I want to rediscover my inner party animal, which has been dormant for far too long now.

Or is that what they call a mid-life crisis?

Good Thinking on the list, I have been thinking about this for awhile.

1. Continue weight loss (down 25 so far)
2. Improve Spanish
3. Start teaching aerobics at my gym as soon as #2 is accomplished
4. Start waking up at 7:30 am (this is a biggy as I now wake up no earlier than 10 am. YIKES!)
5. Read more books

6.And finally, have more compassion for others on DR1 as stupidity has always been my pet peeve, sometimes I need to know when to just sit back and laugh at it rather then respond.

I am very excited to see how I do! Good luck to all!

Lucky you! I can't remember the last time I slept past 7:00am. If it were in my power, I'd make it one of my resolutions to sleep until 7:30am.

That explains the loss of the inner party animal.
