I am getting married to a Dominican man in June 2006 and would like to move there to be with him. I am looking for work preferably in Puerto Plata. My skills include the following: certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor (14 years), physiotherapy assistant, bartending, credit and collections and general cashier and sales work. I would appreciate any help possible. I speak fluent english and am learning spanish. All suggestions welcome. thanks, Michelle:classic:

Welcome to DR1.

You ask a question that comes up on this board at least once a week. You can use the search function and you will read that the answer to your question is that it is almost impossible to get a job in the DR without being there.

If you are fluent in Spanish, you might be able to read some of the online classifieds. How's your Spanish?

Thanks for your reply. My spanish is not great yet but I am learning. I can read it better than speaking it.
