Need some info on Boca Chica

Hello to everyone... I have been trying (without success) to reach some friends in Boca Chica. The phone number has been disconnected. Is the "Bar Heladeria" on Calle Duartte still open? Stefen Michel is the owner.

I plan to visit atthe end on the month but have not been able to reach Stefen either by phone or email.
