My insurance company wants to write off my car after a wreck. They tell me I need a certificaci?n de no objeci?n from the DGII.

Can someone tell me if I can get this online or at least what documents I will need to take with me. DGII was touting their new website but I don't see anything about this certificate.

thanks

You can do this personally, taking with you the documents listed in the Guia Nro. 3 (motor vehicle transactions) that is here:

https://www.dgii.gov.do/publicaciones/guiacontrib.htm

Or Online, through DGII's virtual office. To use DGII's online services you need to:

1. Speak spanish (I asssume you do, or have someone to help you)
2. Have RNC/cedula
3. Access https://www.dgii.gov.do/e-dgii/ (DGII virtual office)
4. Request user/password (with your RNC/cedula)
5. Go to Solicitar certificaciones
6. Certificaciones de vehiculos con/sin oposici?n.

Good luck
