or better in the country.

There is a company who will send almost everything by plane or ship
to the DR for little money and you can pick it up in Sosua, SD, and other places. No more waiting for the good friend who can bring your goodies and no more hassle with the custom when you try to send it on your own.

They even do the shopping for you if you like, but only in Germany.
The other backdraw is the webside is currently only in German...

And NO I'm not the provider of this service nor is it my company, I just thought it is a good thing.

Anyone with a specific question, feel welcome to PM me.

Does that mean everything you send has to start in Germany as well? Sounds unlikely to be of use to anyone not in Germany. You didn't mention the cost, "little" being relative.

Below the headline:
"Die Transportkosten von Deutschland in die Dominikanische Republik"
there are five columns (from left to right):
1. weight in kgs
2. rate per kg in Euro
3. your payment in Euro
4. and 5. Comparing costs of German Postal service and UPS

They also send TO Germany from Sos?a.
Receiving offices In Sos?a, Punta Cana, S.D. and Las Terrenas.

I have NOT used the service yet.
Information was gathered from their website.

Just add on the cost of shipping your gifts from the USA to Germany so they can turn around and send them to the DR. It would have to be really cheap.

Vs. going to the website did what you saw seem cheap (forgetting the obvious deal killer of mailing stuff to Germany first that is)?
