Whats up with the weather? How Catching?

We are arriving 4/1 to Puerto Plata, weather.com shows rain for the next 10 days, Does that mean steady rain? Either way its our first time in the DR looking forward to it. We have a fishing trip planned for Monday, Im curious to what they are catching this time of year

That does'nt mean rain 24/7. It may rain in the early morning or afternoon for an hour. It usually clears up by mid day. When it's humid at night, the chance of rain is there also. Just don't worry, and have a great trip. You won't be rained out the whole week.

Just a little worried when it clears up is the sun shining or is it mainly cloudy?
