in america a man can be made to pay child support if the court proves he is the father of a child , even if he acknowldges the child as his own or not.
can and does that happen in the DR?......
also if a foreign man acknowledges he is the father of a child born in the DR to a dr citizen, will or could the courts in the dr force him to make payments. And if they cant because he isnt in the country can and would they arrest him if he set foot back in the DR?
all hypothetical questions....even if they are POSSIBILITIES
this all assumes that the woman would be forcing the issue.
I realize if the woman never pressed the issue , it would be a moot point.
on another fron in the legal-visa issue....has anyone heard of a medical emergency visa for a dr citizen to make a trip to an american hospital, on very short( emergency) basis.
thanks for the non sarcastic replys
