Those of you who know Nicky and I are aware of the fact that we were told that we couldn't have children so we decided not to let it worry us and come here and get a puppy instead. Then Nicky fell pregnant and now we have 10 month old baby Daisy the light of our lives.

So, would you believe it - We've only gone and done it again! Yes indeed, Nicky is expecting again!

You could knock me down with a feather. Wait 'til I get my hands on the top fertility expert in London who told me I was firing blanks.

So who's a super studdly then?:bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

I can't even start to tell you how much discipline it's taking to not say, "How's your wife, and my kids?". ooops, did I say that out loud?

Many congratulations on making up for lost time. I do agree with Chris that the London quack should be made to pay for his ignorance and our gain!!

All the very best to you, Nicky, Mum and Dad!

congrats my friend! hate to put a dampener on your happy day. But have you not considered other options re how your wife fell pregnant. i mean if a top specialist with 15 years training plus x years experience says your firing blanks...that should carry SOME weight, dont you think. The fact remains that DNA is the only way you can know for sure as to whether you REALLY are the father. Women in their desperation have been known to do ANYTHING to please their partner, and they can LIE! Please dont be offended, i work in an area that exposes me to the full range of human behaviour. Some of the things ive seen 'loving' partners do and say to each other is really frightening . I think you really should get a DNA test.

Thats not very nice Mr Magic! Lets be honest - every time a lady gets pregnant it could be the same thing!

Medical science has been known to be wrong many, many, many times before. I live in the east of England and Iv lived in London. Just cos its london doesnt mean they are great Dr's! Really - i know.

Good luck to you both!

I remember reading somewhere that a random survey of families in England and Wales had determined through DNA analysis that on average 1 out of 5 children of families had proven, unbeknown to their parent, to be of a different biological father than their siblings, and because of this the UK has banned covert DNA testing to determine paternity unless authorized by a court of law.

Once again Mirador, in a desperate plea for attention, has gone and said something completely off the wall and inappropriate. Mirador, this is not the type of thread where you try to be a catalyst for creating controversy but then again, you dont seem to recognize that.

Extremely poor taste.

Simon, congratulations to you and Nicky :). Good job!
