Looking for 1000-1500 gallon fuel tank

The condominium where I live in Sosua is considering the purchase of a 1000 or 1500 gallon fuel tank. Suggestions on a good source for used or new tanks will be appreciated.

The welder I used..............

...............to make gates, bars etc. made mine (smaller : 400 gallons) over 10 years ago and I have not had a problem.....................

Just a thought for you to consider......

Good welding, good price!

For various reasons I recommend two or three smaller communicating tanks instead of one big one.
My own design had slanted bottoms with 3" drain valves at their joint, outside (transparent hose type) level reading with shut off valves, breathers, outlet filter, etc.
They are now 6 years old.
(You can see them on page 2 on my HP.)

metal tanks are no longer legal in canada without a dike
theres other options

No. Don't know if they are available. Also, not sure how well they would hold up in the hot sun here. I had them on my boat, but below decks so well protected from the sun.

Something to check on, but I suspect they will be more expensive here than a fabricated metal tank.
