I relecutantly take back every positive thing I've said about MLB.com (the video game feeds).
DO NOT, under any circumstances buy it for the video. The audio works just fine, it's only $15 I believe.
I had a press account for last season which gave me full access, I could get all the blacked-out games, condensed games and highlights. I've since had to buy in and I can't justify paying for the video any longer - which is chit. To be kind, it's erratic. Never have I received an uninterupted feed. I have to restart the window often, delete history, etc. Any games in Toronto are crap - it's Canada, so this isn't hugely surprising.
They have moved their technology to flash-based video, run only through WMP (Windows Media Player), no more RealPlayer, which, when I purchased the package, was still supported - it was in the FAQs, listed in their promotional items.
Then, once this year began and they introduced the new technology they left all of their RP users out. With RealPlayer you could view in full-screen, this option is not available in WMP.
I now have an Apple (dual processor) and can't use it at all.
I finally got through to someone to see if I could be refunded - I know better, but I was hoping to be surprised. I wasn't (who really gives money back nowadays?). I expressed my concern and let them know I'd make sure I'd reach as many people as possible with this information, I hope you 4 are richer for it.
Stay away.
