Inexpensive Hotels in Jaracaboa?

Any recommendations? I will be there for a night or two next week. One of the guidebooks suggested Hotel California. Anyone been there?

I agree Hotel Gran Jimenoa- nice setting - mid range ($45 per night), pool, river, restaurant, air-conditioning,...etc. Hotel California and Holiwood inn are both about 1 mile from the center of town towards Constanza. I WOULD SAY THEY ARE BOTH SAFE, BUT THATS ABOUT IT.

I think you will pay more than $45 a night, but it is a nice hotel. Try and get rooms 214,215,314, or 315.

you are correct Double 1875 pesos($57 us) Monday-Thursday 2125 ($65 us) Friday-Sunday. still fairly cheap.

I f you have your own transportation hotel Mi Vista is a good option. They have separate cabins, the grounds, the views and the pool are wonderful. It's a few kilometers up the mountain, no problem with your own car, but a bit of a hassle if you depend on taxis.
