I bought a condo in a building and the seller/constructor was allegedly in the process of acquiring the deslinde for each separate unit. However, it has been longer than 6 months and I still have no title for the unit. What can I do to light a fire under this guy's feet? I won't be able to re-sell the unit in future without a deslinde/title--is that correct?

You cannot do a "deslinde" on an individual condo. You can do a "deslinde" on the property where the whole condominium is being built and then go through the procedure at the Superior Land Court of having the property and the buildings declared as a condominium.

From your post, it is very likely that the developer is in the process of doing a deslinde on the whole property, a step required for the filing of the condominium petition.
