Why don't you buy one before your trip and bring it with you?? Or if you are living in the DR, have someone mule one down to you.

I almost bought one ($19.oo) until I realized you need different tips for diff. models. I was going to buy for a store I have in SD but didn't want to get caught up in buying the tips, losing them. etc. so I just didnt do it.
Then again how long does it really take to put a charge on your phone?

I know what you mean john but i am thinking about having it in case of power outtages, emergencies, hurricanes etc.
these come with all 10 different tips for all cell phones with a more advanced chip than the one that you are talking about.

I think I may try to sneak in some...but it would be nice if would be able to get them cheaper there since i will be getting quite a few.
