Hello fellow Dominicans,
I will be representing our country at the 2006 World Rowing Championships in England Aug 20-27. I have been a member of the national team since 2003.

Write to the Dominican Olympic Committee. For world class athletes there are special olympic funds available through Olympic Solidarity.

Because of the costs involved I have always been against Dominican participation in rowing....sorry...not cost effective.

They started talking about this for the 1974 Games in Santo Domingo and i told them that they were nuts. They were and still are.

The price of a good shell and oars is more than it costs to outfit and entire baseball team or football team (skull, not 8!!)

Did you know that Harvard used to use the "used" shells from St. Paul's School??
