BrazilFest Toronto

I have a couple of teenage Dominicanas coming for ESL school July-August and I am looking for places to take them on weekends. Have any of you from Toronto gone to the BRAZILFEST on Toronto Island, and if so, would it be a good event to take a 15 and 17 year old to?

We have never been to Brazilian Fest, we fo to the Hispanic Festival which is always Labor Day Weekend. The island is usually a nice place to go , with the ferry ride and all and if they are having a cultural festival , I should imagine it would be nice. I am going to look into that, we might go as well.
