Does anyone know how medical doctor can obtain a license to practice medicine in the DR. Can you provide information on the governmental agency responsible for granting the license (i.e name, address, telephone etc.).

The process takes a few years to complete. If you do a search on this site you will see a few posts by ECHMD and a couple of others who have done it.
there are dozens of MDs that are practicing without licenses....sad to say.Many serve the ex-pat community. There are a lot of Cuban doctors that work here, too, with out full licenses..
Do the search and then come back and see us.

Go To "work" for a big "Clinica",or Hospital!
They can take care of the "problems" for you.Later you can go into private practice if you want.
