#95 was Bronze for Women's softball: they lost 0:1 to Venezuela and then the Venezuelans took away silver by beating Cuba 2:1....Melissa Penna pitched a perfect game, BTW

#96 was the 4 x 100 relay
#97 was reported in the Listin Diario as being basketball but it doesn't say if it was the men or women....probably the women...

Martial arts supplied over 1/3 of the DR medals...a fast count gave 34 medals for the karate, judo and Tae Kwon Do teams...

HB :D:D

the news, Vince quotes Dominican Today regarding the DR winning 95 medals, Dolores quickly inserts her foot in mouth by saying “old news” we scooped them though Dom Today was posted at 7:30 am and her version (Which had incorrect medal count) wasn’t posted until after noon? Who has “old news” Dolly? THIS CAME FROM BLOG ATTACKING DR1 MEMBERS
