I have spoken to doctors in Puerto Plata and Cabarete and have been told that they do not have it. They told me the name of the drug is Vivotif and you take it orally.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get this from?

Thanks

Have you asked Dr. Gideon at Servi-Med in Cabarete?
If he doesn't know, then nobody does.

As it is a live-virus oral vaccine, it must be kept under refrigeration and has a short shelf-life. With no typoid in the area nor many travelers going directly to those areas, I doubt you will find it here.

I have heard of cases too!

I have also heard of cases hence why I am looking for the vaccination. I have tried Servi-Med but they did not know where I might find it.

I am willing to go to Santiago to get it if anyone there knows of a hospital/clinic offering the medicine.

Thanks
