Frankly, No. We think about ourselves more as latins rather than west indians. West indien is people from St Lucia, Martinique, Dominique, Granada, Trinidad and Tobago. Maybe is a matter of language (they speak english, french or creole)

He means Dominicans, even though he said Dominican Republicans, I thought he was talking about a political party
