Re: Volunteers needed....
This is to promote awareness that the children of DR are in severe need of assistance.
I am 23 years old, a medical Canadian student at UTESA. As to my last email posted, I thank all the warm and considerate people who inquired.
I will be organizing a volunteer non profit based comittee solely dedicated in providing direct assistance to children. If you live in DR your aware of the situation with our kids here.
Just to let you know, I was on Boulevard the other day, approached by a 9 year old girl, who offered her self to me for money. THis is the situation here, and we must make a difference.
I would appriciate any ideas or contacts as to funds available for this work. I am also proposing a recreational centre where kids can get proper clothing, food, medical attetion, toys ect.,
I hope this project can provide a better lifestyle for these young innocent kids, and welcome all of you in helping out.
