Hola,.. I've been in Playa Dorada, in Punta Cana and in Juan Dolio, and I agree with Brenda, i will recommend you Juan Dolio area...it has lot of fun, you can try Boca Chica at night and if you want beach and sun, there is lot of it also. And of course, lots of trips to do because its nice situation... Try Capella.... it sounds really great.
