Hi there, I'm a Registered Nurse (22 yrs) with a BSN and MSN degree's and specialist as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. In the US I'm licensed to evaluate and treat those over the age of 50. My speciality areas have been Emergency and Ambulatory Care and Home Care.

I'm interested in living and working in the DR and Santo Domingo in particular. I'm retired from the US Govt and have a steady retirement income. It would be nice to make enough to just pay for Dr living expenses and have things to do, interact with people, etc.

I'm fair to good in spanish and learning daily.

Any suggestions?? I've been thinking that teaching Nursing might be a way to approach this. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Yeah, retirement.....

You won't earn diddly here....

Unfortunate, but true. Do a search on this site and see for yourself.

As far as teaching nursing, that might, just might be doable....but you'll have to come here and explore the opportunities. Like now for next year...

If you come to Santiago I can take you over to the PUCMM, and we can see....at least it is a possibility...
Bring all your documentation.

2000 RD? Are those 2006 figures? Animacion workers make more than that.
