Anyone had any trouble with traveler's checks in the Rio San Juan/ Playa Grande area? Was thinking about starting with $200 US and 200 in traveler's checks, what type of denominations would anyone suggest would work best? Most cash will be spent on dining and drinking with some beach rentals from Playa Grande? Just trying to cover all the bases on this first trip over, thanx.
