Hello everyone! It's been a long time since my last post. I'm glad everyone is still keeping this forum alive.

We are planning on flying down to "surprise" my dad in Moca this weekend. Does anyone know of any local hotels in that area? We are five (including 2 toddlers and a teenager) and it wil be difficult to accommodate all of us. Any suggestions will be of great help.

Thanks

I hope you mean the 13,14 and 15 Oct??

I would stay in Santiago at the Aloha Sol or the Platinium.

It's jsut a 20 minute run to Moca...

Yes Hilbilly

12th - 15th actually! I've heard of this hotel before. I was hoping there was something in Moca to avoid driving back and forth. Twenty minutes is not bad though. It's well worth seeing the look on my Dad's face when we show up on Thursday.

Thanks again

You might want to get in touch with Rocío Valerio and contract her husband, JJ, for that first trip....make sure all is going to go smoothly.

Once again, thanks so much. It will be my first with three kids!
I made reservations at the Aloha and rented a car.
In the past we could fit anywhere but now were 5.
I miss my dad so much. I just feel the need to see him now.
My kids don't know where they're going but they'll figure it out soon enough.
They'll be just a surprised as Dad!

I'm looking forward to eating some jalao, mofongo and jugo de chinola!

Bon voyage it is!
