How is snorkeling in Punta Cana

I have read lots of reviews of Punta Cana,however I haven't read anything about snorkeling there. How is it? I tried snorkeling for the first time last year in Aruba. It was great. I'd like to try it again this year. Please let me know where to go where the water is calm.

Snorkeling in Punta Cana is acceptable. At most hotels you can book a snorkeling tour to the reefs for about US$20.

Keep in mind you won't be neither in the Yucatan nor in the Virgin Islands, the Grenadines...
