I have been watching the Edenorte websites scheduled outages for several weeks now. As discussed in an older thread, Edenorte posts a weekly schedule as to when they will be turning off the lights. The area between Sosua and Cabarete where I live, had been scheduled to be out 7 hours a day. Edenorte just today put up the schedule for this week (better late then never?) and our sector is now scheduled to be out 9 hours a day. It is getting to the point where my backup power is on longer then Edenorte. It is amazing to me that Sosua Abajo only has 4 hours of outages scheduled a day and most people living there don't even pay yet where I live, we all pay.
I guess there is really not much to say about this after 5 plus years living here, but just had to vent.
Thank god I have well water, they can't turn that off can they?
