Very safe......armed security on motorbikes roam the streets at all hours. It isnt a gated community although the homes have tall fences and walls. Tell someone to take you to Cerro Alto........the houses have signs on them. Better yet, let me put you in contact with the local person who rents these out......she rented mine to me. I'll get back to you. The area is an upscale area with large homes.
