does anyone know what airlines do this route. is anyone familiar with the airlines Air Caraibes. or Caribintair or even Planet Airways. If so, what are your opinions on these airlines.

Caribair flies twice daily from El Higuero (Santo Domingo's new city airport) to Port-au-Prince - 8am and 2pm, once on Sundays - 2pm. The flight takes about 45 mins. Caribe Tours travels from SD to Port-au-Prince (once a day?) but this can take all day.

Currently, RD$6,500 one-way. I'd estimate around RD$9,000 round trip.
