I am an American looking at purchasing some tareas in this area. I lived here some 25 years ago and love the area.
I am concerned on the legal issues involved in a US citiizen owning land plus the abilty to obtain a clear title to this land should I purchase it.
Any recommendations on a lawyer in the Santiago area and a real estate agent who can research surrounding properties for me?
Also, just a rough guess on what an acre of normal farming land should sell and hopefully not at precio gringo!
